Farm kitchen pop-up at J&P Cosentino Family Farm in San Jose

Updated: Oct 8

This cute little farm stand has fresh fruits, some veggies, and pantry items made in their kitchen. If you don't want to wait for your local farmers market on the weekend, you can stop by here!

Occasionally, they will also have Farm Kitchen pop-ups on Saturdays from 11am - 1pm and serve freshly made food with seasonal ingredients (amazing!)

On the day we went, at the pop-up, they were serving a veggie focaccia with eggplant, tomato, and basil pesto or stone fruit cobbler, or wood-fired peppers. We tried all of these! They were delicious especially the focaccia and the confit garlic farm butter that it came with! I was just dunking the focaccia in that butter like nobody's business. I even saved the remaining butter to take home and eat with something else the next day, it was that good haha!

They set up seating in the back and you can eat among the fruit trees, it's lovely! There's a coffee stand too. It was packed!! People buying fruit, ordering food, eating, waiting in line. Probably better to go earlier but regardless, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the farm stand!

We picked up some fruits and also some corn, and wowza that was the best sweetest corn I ever ate in my life. I tried to go back again a week later but they were sold out 😥 will check again next time!

Bring cash/venmo for payment by the way. Cash is easier so you don't have to wait for slow / spotty cell service.

For details on their next farm kitchen pop-up, you can visit their Facebook/Instagram page.

I love that this is a hard working family owned business, and it's really admirable what they're doing for the community in feeding people healthy fresh produce and bringing people together for fun weekend events here and there.

Update: we went back and here's their focaccia and berry crumble - so good!

Stop by for a visit!
