Indian flavored ice cream at Pints of Joy in Sunnyvale

Looking for frozen yogurt one evening, we stumbled upon Pints of Joy in Sunnyvale! We went inside and discovered that they have all sorts of ice cream flavors including Indian flavors as well! Wow, we had never seen that before. Their creative and unique flavors include:

• Falooda

• Gulab Jamun

• Rasmalai

• Malai Kulfi

• Mulberry

• Chikoo-Sapota

• Salted Guava

• Blueberry Lavender

• Kokum Sorbet

• Pistachio Kulfi

• More common flavors like mango and chocolate

• and more - there's also boozy flavors as well.

Major analysis paralysis, we couldn't decide! There's so many we wanted to try, and the two young ladies working there helped by patiently describing all the flavors to us! "It kind of tastes like ___" or "it's a common flavor combination in Indian desserts..." etc..

Unfortunately, they don't offer samples or sampler collections at the store (but I do see they have a sampler in their online store). We settled on these two because we wanted something we had never tried before.

The Gulab Jamun was soo good - really sweet but really good!! We haven't tried the other one yet. There's no seating at the place, but we thoroughly enjoyed our ice cream, licking our spoons, sitting in the car in the parking lot outside the store.

On a normal average boring day when you need to lift your spirits, come for a pint of joy, and you'll probably leave with multiple!
