Croissants are pretty big for kids, but these mini ones from Whole Foods are the perfect size! And for adults, it will be hard for you to limit yourself to just 1. 😋
Best part is that you can keep them in your freezer and bake them piping hot and fresh in the morning anytime you want, without much prep time! The directions recommend to defrost them for about 30 mins at room temp (while you brush your teeth or get dressed for the day), then it just takes 12-18 mins to bake in the toaster oven.
There are 12 in a pack, located in a freezer within the bakery section at Whole Foods. It cost $6.49 when I bought them, but they will probably differ in cost at your local store.
So buttery and flaky and soft! Highly recommend keeping these in your freezer for when you need a quick breakfast in the morning and have no creativity left on what to make! You could fry an egg and put a slice of cheese in there too to make it more filling.
Another thing I like about this method instead of buying a box of already ready croissants is that we can never eat the whole box at a time, so this is a good way to satisfy your craving one small croissant at a time! 😁
