This week Lingerie République had a grand opening at their new location at Town and Country Village in Palo Alto, near Stanford University. Previously they were located in downtown Palo Alto on a side street off University Ave, near Ramen Nagi I heard, but I had never been.
The store was bustling with grand opening festive decor, balloons, appetizers, macarons, drinks, and of course lingerie as well as loungewear. It's an upscale boutique with European brands and extended range of sizing that you can't find at any old department store. They carry brands like Primadonna, Cosabella, Marie Jo, Fleur du Mal, and more!
The owner is Natalie and she is very sweet and welcoming and knowledgeable! Michaela also works there and she is really good at bra fittings and recommending things that would fit well. She didn't even have to use a measuring tape on me, she was able to guess my size and brought me plenty of options that fit well, were flattering, and also based on what I was looking for. Overall, there is excellent customer service here, you will be well taken care of!
That is why I ended up with quite a decent haul! I got 3 bras, and a little goody bag in honor of the grand opening. Plus there was special 20% discount off my purchase that day!
I liked what I got so much that I went to go eat lunch and then came back afterwards to buy 2 more bras! lol. So I ended up getting 5 bras that day for about $500. It is more of a pricey place but I think a good fitting bra is well worth the investment. Too many of us are wearing the wrong size!

Overall, I had a great time visiting this store for the first time and interacting with everyone who worked there, and even fellow customers! Everyone was really friendly as we were waiting in line for the dressing room or to checkout, and they raved about how they love certain items in the store. The business really does have a loyal following and I can see why!
