Last month (mid November 2024), a new sushi place opened off El Camino Real near downtown Menlo Park: Hirotaka Sushi.
It feels like there's a lot of new Japanese restaurants opening recently but I wanted to come check out their lunch specials!
It's $16.95 for a 2 item bento and $18.95 for a 3 item bento. Or they have lunch roll combos (2 or 3 items) or dinner combos.
I also noticed they have sushi party trays if you need those.
And here are their chef specials. Honeymoon special sounds intriguing. Or their Hirotaka Sashimi Deluxe!
I opted for a bento of Saba and Teriyaki Chicken.
It comes with soup and salad, and they also give complementary edamame when you sit down!
The food was good, the teriyaki and miso soup were my favorites. My hubby ordered a lot of rolls:
I would say try the lunch specials, it's a generous portion at a good price!
