New pupusa place has recently opened in Redwood City! They have different flavors of fresh pupusas like zucchini and cheese, mixed cheese with ground pork and refried beans, queso a mixed cheese one, and more! It comes with curtido (a slaw type mixture) to put on top with some sauce.
The star of the lunch was the lunch special of the day though, this chicken stew that was like melting off the bone and so flavorful, our little one loved it.
Also they bring you out this complementary starter in the beginning of the meal, some fried tortilla strips with a side of beans - really good!!
Service is very friendly, the shop is small but cozy and modern. It feels like the food is cooked with love and care. It's a little gem in Redwood City! Come check it out. Parking is in the neighborhood wherever you can find it.
