When I think of churros, I think of Disneyland as the place to get them. But since I'm in the Bay Area (six hours away from Disneyland in SoCal), there aren't many other times that I get to experience the deliciousness of a hot churro.
UNTIL, I discovered that LuLu's Mexican restaurant has them!! Okay I don't think they're homemade, but they do fry them when you order them, so they are piping hot when they land in your hand.
It's crispy and covered in cinnamon sugary goodness and soft on the inside. Share it with someone or eat it all by yourself, I won't judge.
The LuLu's on Main Street in downtown Los Altos is open until 8pm, so it's perfect for an after-dinner snack or for an afternoon snack.
Note: the cinnamon and sugar WILL get all over the place. Ha!
Oh and if you're even hungrier, LuLu's has tacos, burritos, and other Mexican food on the menu too. See their huge menu!
They have 5 locations in the Bay Area: Campbell, Los Altos, Palo Alto, San Carlos, and Menlo Park. More details on their website. Cheers!
