It's holiday season again and it's time to show appreciation for the teachers who care for our kids.
I think teachers get a lot of chocolates, sweets, maybe gift cards to Target and Amazon, so I wanted to do something a little different this year and get them fruit! Fruit can be shared and it's healthy!
My go-to place for a fruit box is of course fruitqueen in the SF Bay area. I ordered boxes of organic owari satsuma mandarins. They were $24/box. A good price when you have multiple teachers! (We also gave them cards and enclosed some money as well).

Here's a closeup of the mandarins!

I think it's maybe 5 lbs of mandarins but it's a good amount! And the teacher appreciated them!
It makes me think that actually I have some more gifts to order so I'm going more to order more boxes for the last delivery before the holidays!
Order from the website here: https://heyfruitqueen.com/
They will ship for $9 flat per delivery address, so it's even more worth it if you order a bunch to your address.
The last delivery of the year is Dec 19, 2024 so you need to place your order by Dec 18, 2024.
They also have holiday boxes with other goodies and wreaths too!
