Earlier this year, I saw an article about a Bay Area bakery selling the viral spiral-shaped croissant that was first popularized in New York City. So I was eager to try them! You can find them at French bakery in Campbell called Marvel Cake.

There are only limited quantities available each day because they are so time-consuming to make, so they can sell out soon after they open. In fact, they limit each customer to buying only one of each flavor. The different flavors available are: Pistachio, Hazelnut (new flavor), Chocolate, and Strawberry. The cost is $7.50 each.

I opted to try the Strawberry one and it was delicious - so flaky and crispy and filled with a strawberry cream inside. It was actually not too sweet, and I ate the whole thing, but was very full and satisfied after!

They also have all sorts of pastries, cakes, cupcakes, macaroons, coffees and teas. And they do wedding / custom cakes too, which got good reviews.

The bakery is so cute inside too!

They have a separate event room too that had open seating. You could also book it for a private event. That would be fun for like a mother's day or bridal / baby shower party with other ladies. More details on private events on their site.

Overall, this bakery would be a great place to grab coffee with someone, or to have a sweet treat after a meal. I will bring other people back so they can try the spiral croissant too. I would want to try the chocolate one next time, and their creme brûlée looked pretty tempting too!
